Stress could be making you eat more....  But why?

The stress hormone, Cortisol, is directly related to making the body retain fat. Constant fluctuation in your body’s hormone levels are not good for your overall health, and can cause you to gain weight.

This hormone essentially tells the cells in your body to hold onto fat as a self-preservation technique, especially around your abdomen. If you tend to stop eating when you’re stressed, this also causes your body’s hormones to fluctuate and push your body into “panic” mode. If your body thinks it’s not going to get food, it desperately holds onto fat. On the other hand, if you tend to overeat when you’re stressed, your body is used to the “feel good” hormones that are released as it processes the food you consume.

This also contributes to a cycle of eating in order to feel better, which ultimately leads to weight gain. The Skinne product from the Automatic Body program has Garcinia Cambogia in  it and it  helps lower stress and Cortisol levels.
